Since webinars are distinct from regular meetings, how they are set up and their security settings in Zoom also differ. Consequently, Verbit's Zoom Integration for webinars would be a bit different from regular meetings.
This article will explain how to setup Verbit's captioning solution to Zoom webinars.
Granting Verbit Access to the Webinar
In order for Verbit Captions to record the webinar for captioning, Verbit Captions has to be let into the webinar.
It is recommended to have the host invite firstname.lastname@example.org as a panelist for the webinar before the session.
Captioning the Webinar
Verbit Captions will attend the webinar and request the host for the API token.
Alternatively, the host can email the API token to email@example.com before the actual webinar.
Once Verbit gets a copy of the API token, captions will be delivered by Verbit Captions to the webinar.
